Welcome to Hiwan Country Club

Hiwan Golf Club was designed by J. Press Maxwell, son of the legendary architect Perry Maxwell, as part of the 14,000-acre Hiwan Ranch. At an elevation above 7,600 feet, the 18-hole private mountain golf course was the first of its kind when it was built in 1962. The Hiwan Country Club neighborhood is situated in the foothills and spirals out from the course center. Residents of the Hiwan Country Club area have easy access to the golf club and clubhouse. You can also hike, bike, and ride horses at Elk Meadow nearby. Hiwan Country Club is close to retail shops and restaurants, so you get both the serene mountainside living and convenient city amenities. It’s right off Evergreen Parkway and only a 30-minute commute to downtown Denver. The location of Hiwan Country Club makes it one of the most desirable areas in Evergreen.

Most homes in Hiwan Country Club were built between 1960 and 1990 and are set on spacious lots with plenty of mature trees. There’s a mix of contemporary mountain and ranch-style homes featuring arched entryways, high beams, and big, beautiful windows. Many have been updated to include modern flooring, granite or marble kitchens, and new sundecks. The homes are without fencing, so residents have views of the golf course and surrounding green spaces. If you want more privacy, The Island at Hiwan is a small, gated community with large contemporary homes and spacious yards.
